Microsoft Copilot helps schools improve teaching, learning, and administration by integrating AI into familiar Microsoft 365 tools, which we have access to at Brookfield school as part of our school package.

Security and Compliance
Runs within the school’s Microsoft 365 environment, respecting existing permissions.
Uses enterprise-grade encryption and security controls.
Complies with UK GDPR and EU Data Boundary requirements, ensuring data privacy and residency.
Prompts and responses are not used to train external models, maintaining confidentiality.
Signing into Copilot
Personal accounts – Do NOT use for school-related work. Data may be stored outside school control, and school policies will not apply.
Use only work, business, or school accounts when signing into Copilot. This ensures access to secure features within our school system.
Verify enterprise data protection policies are enabled (look for the green shield with a tick). This keeps data secure and GDPR-compliant; otherwise, data may be at risk.
